10th Anniversary Gig, Southport FC Social Club, Haig Avenue, Southport
Well who would have thought it? This band of friends that got together in 1998 to record a few demos of songs they had written would still be going..and, despite their age and creaking bones, they are!
Odd At Ease played their first live gig in Wigan back in October 1998 on the very day that their first album, The Wrong Type Of Rain, was released. In order to celebrate this milestone, the band are holding a musical celebration. Expect to see some old band members appearing on stage. Admission to the gig is absolutely free, but by ticket only, and limited to 120.

OPEN MIC NIGHTS IN UP HOLLAND
Odd At Ease have also been organising Open Mic Nights in Up Holland, Lancashire. The next one is at a new venue, The Sandbrook Arms, Orrell, and is taking place on Monday 17th November, 8pm.

The format is that you can play up to 3 songs, and will go on stage on a first come first served basis. However as the event is very popular, you are best advised to contact Ian who organises it in advance to reserve your place - click here to e-mail him with your details. A small PA will be provided (phantom power available if needed for DI boxes, etc). there's no entry fee - just come and enjoy Al's Mayflower real ale, great company, and fantastic live music all for the price of a few drinks!.
